After his Zee5 Original film Darbaan, actor Sharad Kelkar has geared up to meet fans with a new season of the famous Amazon Prime Original series The Family Man. This blockbuster action-thriller kept everyone on the edge of their seat during the entire season. Since their 1st announcement about the 2nd season in November-2019, the audience has been waiting for the 2nd season. It has been more than a year but the excitement about the coming season hasn’t wavered a bit. The fans were being updated by the team of The Family Man from time to time, which led to the social media outbreak about the series.
But recently, actor Sharad Kelkar who played the role of Arvind in the series made an announcement by launching the poster of season 2. The poster of this multi-lingual series has triggered huge chaos among the fans, as they’ll finally get to see season 2, soon.
The poster looks pretty amazing, as we can see a person taping a bomb on a box. The actor wrote in his caption that the wait is finally over. We’ve brought a new year surprise for you, open it carefully. Indicating that the series will premiere at the start of the coming year. The actor also tagged the lead actor Manoj Bajpayee and everyone from the cast. Talking about the cast, there are going to be two new additions to the cast in 2nd season. Renowned actress Samantha Akkineni and actor Asif Basra will be joining the team in the new season, but their characters haven’t been announced yet.
The Family Man is a story of a common man Srikant Tiwari (Manoj), who secretly works in the Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell (T.A.S.C.) as a Senior Analyst. Being a senior member of an organization that is a part of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) of India, Srikant simultaneously tries to manage his unsettled family life and work. The story revolves around his life as a senior analyst solving various cases about terrorist attacks and managing his family. The second season follows the further continuation of the story. The director duo Raj Nidimoru & Krishna D. K.’s played their role amazingly as writers, directors, as well as producers of the series. This series proved to be their best work together and Manoj’s acting in it was as perfect as ever.
As mentioned in posts, the second season of this series is set to premiere on Amazon Prime on the 12th of February-2021. The series has everyone excited for its release, so the new year is surely going to be filled with a hell of an action.
